I bought a copy of Amy Krouse Rosenthal’s “Encyclopedia of Me” and realized it would be a wonderful way to work my way through the alphabet.

What is an affirmation?
“Affirmations are positive, specific statements that help you to overcome self-sabotaging, negative thoughts. They help you visualize, and believe in, what you’re affirming to yourself, helping you to make positive changes to your life and career.” (Google)
Why use them?
Affirmations have the power to :
-reframe negative thoughts
-rewire our brains
-put a positive spin on what pulls us down
