June Reading Round-UP

rdg roundup 001

Hard to believe June is almost over!
It’s that time to share what I have been reading this past month. I had a Patricia Briggs binge read this month.

The total read for June was 33 books with the following breakdown:
Paranormal -15
Fantasy – 0
Historical – 1
Romance – 7
Women’s Fiction – 3
Classics – 1
MG/YA – 2
PB – 1
Memoir – 0
Mystery – 1
Non-Fiction – 3
Play – 1
Diverse books – 2

I decided this year to record in more detail where the books originated – from the library, on my TBR shelves, an e-book, bought /gifted or a charity read (Bought from a charity store). Here’s the breakdown
Library reads – 27
TBR books –1
e-books – 6

Several people have posted their mid-year reading summary and it makes sense. I don’t share all the reading challenges I have been participating in, so here is a breakdown:

  1. I remember you mentioning being able to read so many books because of being retired. You still must be a quick reader to a book a day done! So many challenges–do you have a spreadsheet to keep track and organized? I’d love to see your stats on graphs or pie charts (I’m a math geek as well as word nerd too).

  2. Thanks Danielle. I am a quick reader and I fit reading in where ever I can – especially when travelling. I don’t use a spreadsheet – just a notebook with the lists for each challenge. Altho I love math, I don’t do graphs (unfortunately)
