Time again for Kathryn’s weekly meme IMWAYR at Book Date where we share what we’re reading and have read over the past week
What I’ve Read
Last week was a good reading week. Here are the books I read:
The Chai Factor by Farah Heron
A diverse romance, where hate turns to love.
The Oysterville Sewing Circle by Susan Wiggs
Wiggs is one of my favourite authors and she doesn’t disappoint in this women’s fiction. Loved it.
Two historical fiction romances by Sarah MacLean
The Rogue Not Taken
The Day of the Duchess
What I’m Reading Now
I’m still reading these 2 books (got sidetracked with MacLean’s books!)
In Shining Armor by Elliott James
This is the fourth book in this urban fantasy series of the Pax Arcana. Such imagination and such an interesting flawed hero in John Charming.
A Rogue by Any Other Name by Sarah MacLean
Another historical romance.
Sit, Stay, Love by Debbie Burns
A sweet romance, with dogs.
What’s Up Next
Lake Silence by Anne Bishop (a fantasy in the world of The Others)
Dear Mother by Bunmi Laditan (A book of poetry celebrating motherhood)
I can see how you’d get side tracked by the Sarah MacLean books, she does weave a great historical romance. Still waiting for my Wiggs book to arrive.
Finding a good series is sometimes a challenge. I’ve lucked out with MacLean and Bishop though
Lake Silence is a great book, I’m so glad she’s continuing on with that world. Have a great week!

Thanks Wendi! Hope she continues writing the series.
Have a great reading week yourself.
I really want to read “The Chai Factor”.
It was definitely different but I really enjoyed it. Got it at the library
I have a couple books by Susan Wiggs on my shelf but have yet to get to them. Hearing she is a favorite is motivating to go read them!
Thanks Jamie. Wiggs has become one of my must read authors.
I do like Sarah MacLean. And I liked the first Bishop book about the Others and I’ve always meant to go back to that series.
Thanks. There are just so many good books – finding time to read them is the problem!
