It's Monday! What Are You Reading (1)

Time once again for Kathryn’s weekly meme IMWAYR at Book Date where we share what we’re reading and have read over the past week

What I’ve Read This Past Week

Last week was a week of excellent fantasy books and historical romances, as well as a book of poetry.

Here are the books I read:

Lake Silence by Anne Bishop

Wild Country by Anne Bishop
The first two in a new fantasy series of The Others – such amazing world-building and unique storyline. Loved them! (But now will have a long wait for the next one)

Dear Mother by Bunmi Laditan What a powerful book of poetry which celebrates motherhood.

  1. You’ve been reading some great books. I was lucky a few years back to win a McQuiston book, that one I think, from the author and she signed and was happy to post it to me. I loved those Kleypas historicals. I have held back from listening to Wild Country but maybe sometime I’ll get to it.

  2. Longer than you might want for more in The Others world. Her next two are in her Black Jewels world. I’ve read The Others series so many times that I’ve lost count. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
