It’s time once again for Kathryn’s weekly meme IMWAYR at Book Date where we share what we’re reading and have read over the past week
What I Read Last Week
Last week I read 4 books, but one was over 500 pages. I even read a variety of genres: fantasy, NS, historical and contemporary romances
Here are the books I read:
A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness
Loved this fantasy novel and looking forward to reading the series.
Loved these historical romance books by Tessa Dare:
Do You Want to Start a Scandal
Say Yes to the Marquess
Fumbled by Alexa Martin A sweet diverse contemporary romance
What I’m Reading Now
The Marrow Thieves by Cherie Dimaline
A Night to Surrender by Tessa Dare
What’s Up Next
Shadow of Night by Deborah Harkness
Linking as well with
Book Nook Blog Party at Create With Joy
I still plan to read the All Souls Trilogy, though I’m eagerly awaiting the next season of the tv adaption.
Wishing you a great reading week
Thanks Shelleyrae. I haven’t seen the series, but the books have hooked me.
I have seen A Discovery of Witches around a lot but never got to read it. I think I’d manage it so long as no witches are put to the stake!
I know it’s a series now but haven’t seen it. The second book has them going back to Shakespeare’s time – not a great time to be a witch!
I love the All Souls books. I usually do a reread every winter. They are so cozy to me.
I’ve also been reading a lot of Tessa Dare recently.
I’m certainly enjoying both authors, both genres
I really loved Discovery of Witches. 🙂 Have a great week!
Thanks Erin. Have a great reading week yourself.
I enjoyed the first three Harkness books but have been not too interested in Time’s Convert which has been sitting on TBR mountain for quite a while now. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
I’ve just started the second – thought there were only 3. Happy reading to you as well.
Fumbled looks good. My weekly update
It was.
Have you finished The Marrow Thieves? I loved that book SO MUCH.
I started it, but got on an historical romance binge and it has been waiting for me to get back to it. I will read it, for sure.
