It’s time once again for Kathryn’s weekly meme “It’s Monday! What are You Reading?“, at Book Date, where we share what we’re reading and have read over the past week.

What I Read Last Week
I read books 8 books (4 of which were novellas)– 3 romances, 2 women’s fiction, 1 historical romance, I fantasy and 1 paranormal.

Books I read:

at graves end3570231

At Grave’s End by Jeaniene Frost. Had to buy this book as I couldn’t get it through the library, but it was worth it. So, enjoying this paranormal series.

how to bake 8538883

How to Bake a perfect Life by Barbara O’Neal. I have loved all her books and this was no exception.

kiss an angel73086

Kiss an Angel by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. I ‘ve read and enjoyed all the books I’ve read by her. This was a bit darker but got sucked in right away.

his bride 52217144._SX318_SY475_

His Bride for the Taking by Tessa Dare. This was an historical romance novella – just wish it was longer. One of my favourite authors in this genre.

all i want for xmas43522442

All I Want for Christmas is You. By Miranda Liasson. It took me a while to finish this romance but it was enjoyable.

unexpected date13631520

An Unexpected Date by Susan Hatler. Another romance novella that was sweet and worth the read.

silver blade6395945

Silver Blade by Ilona Andrews. Thought I had read most of their books but discovered this fantasy novella and enjoyed it.

big sky blue18916259

Big Sky Blue by Hildie McQueen. A sweet historical romance novella. – that fit for a reading challenge.

What I’m Reading Now

The Black Tide by Keri Arthur (Book 3)
How to Heal a Highland Heart by Julie Johnstone

What’s Up Next – STILL!
Keep it Moving by Twyla Tharp.
Becoming by Michelle Obama

  1. I think How to Bake a Perfect Life was one of my first Barbara O’Neal books and I have read quite a few since then. Tessa Dare is also one of the few historical romance authors I am still reading on a regular basis..

  2. I love Barbara O’Neal’s stories and loved this one too. And I enjoy every SEP book that she writes. Already pre-ordered the one coming out in June. You achieved great reading this week.

  3. I have a copy of Silver Blade by Ilona Andrews but haven’t read it yet. Somehow it is harder for me to get to novellas than it is to full-length novels. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
