It’s Monday! What are You Reading?

It’s time once again for Kathryn’s weekly meme, “It’s Monday! What are You Reading?” hosted at Book Date, where we share what we’re reading and have read over the past week.

We’ve had frost the past few nights so I have been bringing in my hanging plant. With Mother’s Day today, I now have 3 plants to protect for the next few nights. Then the warmer weather should be with us. Hope everyone had a lovely Mother’s Day.

 What I Read Last Week

I read 8 books – 3 historical romances, 1 non-fiction, 1 poetry book, 2 romances and a picture book.

The historical romances were all by Grace Burrowes. I am working through a couple of her series and still enjoying them.

Ethan               Lady Sophie’s Christmas Wish   Too Scot to Handle

The Reason I Jump by Naoki Higashida. This was an amazing book, written by a 13-year-old autistic Japanese boy, who gave answers to questions about autism.

Runaway Road by Devney Perry. I so enjoy her romances – so well written

Sun Kissed by Catherine Anderson. So enjoyed this romance.

Home Body by Rupi Kaur. A powerful book of poems.

A Computer Called Katherine by Suzanne Slad, illus. by Veronica Miller Jamison. A creative non-fiction picture book about an exceptional woman

What I’m Reading Now

What You Wish For by Katherine Center

Wild Sign by Patricia Briggs

What’s Up Next

Take a Hint Dani Brown by Talia Hibbert
