It’s time once again for Kathryn’s weekly meme, “It’s Monday! What are You Reading?” hosted at Book Date, where we share what we’re reading and have read over the past week.
First real snow of the season – big white flakes sure are pretty. Thankfully we don’t have to go anywhere. It won’t last but we all know – more will arrive soon enough.
What I Read Last Week
I read 9 books –4 historical fiction, 3 romances and 2 picture books.
An historical romance trilogy by Johanna Lindsey, which I really enjoyed:
Man of My Dreams Love Me Forever The Pursuit
Books to complete the romance series by Devney Perry, which I loved:
Quarter Miles Forsaken Trail Dotted Lines
The Mistletoe Mistake of Miss Grayson by Maggie Dallen . This was a short historical romance novella which was okay.
PBs – both were interesting reads:
Ojiichan’s Gift by Chieri Uegaki, illus. by Genevieve Simms
Poem in my Pocket by Chris Tougas and Josee Bisaillon
What I’m Reading Now
The Lost Garden by Helen Humphries
What’s Up Next (I must get to these soon!)
5 Little Indians by Michelle Good
Opposition by Jennifer L. Armentrout
It snowed here too over the weekend. We had those big flakes! So pretty! they didn’t stick around though… 🙂
Just checked outside (11:30 pm) and we have about an inch of snow! Hopefully I won’t have to shovel tomorrow – it will melt away. You’re right tho – it is pretty
What a stellar week of books!
Wishing you a great reading week
Thanks Shelleyrae. Hope you have a great reading week as well.
Oh -Wow Snow – i missed that from living in Michigan. But perfect for reading.
You’re so right Lisa. Today is cold and white outside – I’m inside reading!
Great titles! Enjoy them and your week, and here are my WEEKLY UPDATES
Thanks Laurel-Rain. Have a great reading week.
Our first snow on Thursday didn’t last but the snow I woke up to Sunday morning looks like it’s here for the season. Nice looking bunch of books. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
Thanks kathy. It’s white on the grass but the roads are clear. I can live with that. Happy reading!
No snow here! We rarely get snow (NC) so we enjoy it when we get it. Sounds like a great week of reading.
Thanks Cindy. My older brother lives in NC. We watch for the weather from NC – he is always bugging us about the difference in our weather. Happy reading to you.
It looks like a great week of reading, Bev. We also had snow, but it didn’t even stay on the ground. I hate to use the word enjoy for Five Little Indians, so I hope it is a great reading experience.
Thanks Carla. I know what you mean about Five Little Indians. But it is an important book, a must read for all of us. Happy reading!
