We are already at the end of April – with all the showers, that will bring May flowers. April has been a healthier month for my husband and I and it has ended with good news – my knee replacement takes place May 31st.
It’s time to share what I have been reading this past month. I will summarize how I did with each challenge as well.
The total read for April was 33 books. Here is the breakdown:
Fantasy -7
Urban fantasy – 3

Time travel – 1

I continue to record in more detail where the books originated – from the library, on my TBR shelves (bought/gifted or won) or an e-book. Here’s the breakdown:

Best of the Bunch (A Cocoon of Books)
Another great reading month Bev. Hadn’t heard of Indigo Ridge.
Thanks kathryn. I’ve enjoyed several books by Perry, the first I got as a free ebook. I really think her writing is exceptional.
Wow, I have a hard time tracking everything in goodreads. Your detail is commendable!
Thanks so much. I keep a book diary and record my challenges and books read. Makes it easier than Goodreads, altho I do record my reading there.
I hadn’t heard of Indigo Ridge but sounds like a great book. I saw you mentioned Margaret Atwood. I haven’t read any of her books but just picked up Hag Seed from our library yesterday. I can’t wait to dive in!

Thanks Maureen. I just Hagseed from Goodwill a few weeks ago. I’m looking forward to reading it as well.
I loved Bishop’s The Others series, but for some reason stopped reading after LAKE SILENCE (which, admittedly, I didn’t love quite as much as the original books). I need to get back to those books one of these days.
Thanks Nicole. Lake Silence was my least favourite of the whole series, but I really enjoyed Wild Country.
