It’s time once again for Kathryn’s weekly meme, It’s Monday! What are You Reading?, hosted at Book Date, where we share what we’re reading and have read over the past week.
I read 3 books– 1 historical romance a woman’s fiction, and an historical fiction novella. It was definitely a slow week for reading – ended up watching more Christmas and musical shows this past week.
Lady Jenny’s Christmas Portrait by Grace Burrowes. Another enjoyed historical romance in her series.
Siren’s Call by C. S. Harris. This was the final novella in the historical fiction anthology The Deadly Hours. Enjoyed all the novellas.
A Bookshop Christmas by Rachel Burton. A new author for me and so enjoyed her novel. Will be reading more.
What I’m Reading Now
The Bullet That Missed by Richard Osman
What I am Reading Next
Born a Crime by Trevor Noah (found it!)
I was planning to start The Bullet that Missed today, but then a Golden Age Christmas mystery came on my radar, so I’ll be starting that and getting back to Richard Osman next week. Have a great week!
That happens so often – you plan to read a certain book – then another pops up and you HAVE to read that one. Enjoy them both!
A Bookshop Christmas cover looks really cute. It is the season now for reading and viewing Christmas themes.
Thanks Kathryn. It certainly is time for holiday books! Happy reading!
A Bookshop Christmas looks fun! Happy reading Bev!
Thanks Dedra. It was such a great read. Happy reading to you as well!
I still need to read the book before The Bullet That Missed. I bought it last Christmas and there it sits mocking me.
It was a wonderful read. I get such a chuckle from those seniors. Hope you enjoy it. Happy reading!
I enjoyed The Deadly Hours too. I had a review copy back in 2020. I hope you enjoy this week’s choices. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
Thanks Kathy. Happy reading to you as well.
A Bookshop Christmas sounds lovely! I will have to check that one out! Hope you are having a wonderful reading week!
Thanks Sherry. It really was. Have a wonderful reading week as well.
